"Gravity is a habit that is hard to shake off" ~ Terry Pratchett. The natural phenomenon of gravity keeps us centered and our feet on the ground, but that pull can take its toll on your body. When your body is positioned in zero gravity, you are reclined so that your body is positioned evenly. This position, discovered by NASA, is like that of an astronaut’s position during lift off for space missions. With the increase in the force of gravity during lift off, it is very important for astronauts to place themselves in a way that their body can deal with the increased force; this reclined position distributes stress over the full body.

Of those, only the chairs in the salt cabin require any effort to get into position! We would have used fancier ones in there, but, the super beneficial medical grade salt doesn't play nice with the plush leather of our favorite chairs so we use the outdoor version of the chairs instead.
