What should I do to get ready for the treatment?
Eat an easily digestible meal (not biscuits with sausage and gravy!) and wear comfortable clothes.
What if I feel nervous when receiving a treatment like this?
Our Lounge uniquely offers the option to pair a NuCalm session with your IV therapy. NuCalm will help to lower your anxiety and put your body into a relaxed and open state to receive the goodness in your drip protocol.
How long will it take?
Most take 30-45 minutes. You will review and confirm the waiver acceptance prior to your first appointment and have time to address any questions.
What should I do after the treatment?
After your session, you can go about your day as you would normally. There are no restrictions. We recommend that you exercise, meditate, eat healthy meals, stay hydrated, and get enough rest daily.
What am I going to feel?
Depending on your nutritional and hydration status you may see dramatic effects after the first IV. People who get IV’s regularly will feel less dramatic effects as their body starts to obtain optimal hydration and nutritional balance.
How long is this going to be effective?
The noticeable effects typically last 2-4 days; however, the underlying clinical benefits can continue beyond that.
How frequently should I be doing these?
Some conditions often require an intense period of treatment (1-2 months) during which you may need several treatments per week. This is typically followed by maintenance therapy 1-4 times/month. Preventative treatments are usually done 2-4 times per month.
Is this doing more for me than just hydrating me?
Yes, flooding your blood with nutrients through a series of IV infusions helps your cells play catch-up for the long standing nutrient deficiencies they have encountered.
What is in the IV?
The nutrients included vary by choice of treatment. More information can be found here.
Can too much Vitamin C upset my stomach?
Vitamin C in moderate doses can cause G.I. upset. The IV route overcomes this limitation and allows for higher concentration to support the immune system.
Can this much Glutathione be absorbed well?
Glutathione – the master detoxifier – is often broken down once ingested and poorly absorbed. IV glutathione gets this essential detoxification nutrient right to the cells in much higher concentrations than possible orally.
Why is this effective?
Nutrition IV therapy bypasses your digestive system and is administered directly into your bloodstream. Your body is then able to absorb the maximum amount of nutrients and fluids since nothing is lost as a result of the digestive process. In addition, vitamins and nutrients become immediately available to your cells for use for fast results.
What are the key benefits?
Hippocrates, also known as the father of medicine, said “Let food be thy medicine.” While a diet in whole natural foods is very important for optimal health, because of farming practices and availability, it is hard to get all the nutrients we need from our food supply. IV nutrients can bridge that gap and boost health and wellness.
I’ve heard that your body releases excess vitamins, why is higher dose infusions not just pumping stuff through me that my body isn’t going to use?
Bypassing the digestive tract allows for 100% absorption of all nutrients, which makes them immediately available for cellular use.
